The Road from Los Alamos

The remains of a volcano the erupted 1 million years ago. While I was there taking pictures a man (with a Canon camera a about a 600mm lens) ask, “would you like to use a big lens?”I can hear your jokes now. I said no and that I liked using the wide angle (quit laughing!) He pointed to the valley floor and said “those are elk down there.”I couldn't even see them. It was just a blotch on grass. They were about two miles away. This was a beautiful drive. Much more enchanting than the Enchanted Highway or the High Road to Taos.

See what I am saying about the colors here?
