Gateway

Went to eat Sunday at Gateway Lodge, mostly because it was located next to some river rapids. They were full so they asked if I would mind sitting with some other people.

“Nope.”

Four people (one guy and three ladies) from all over CA were there to see a friend play. Teresa Russell was her name and man could she play. She had prerecorded backup instrumentals, but with a push a foot pedal she would sing background lyrics that would loop. Live she would play and sing. Teresa was quite the picker.
