a Da Da Da

Back at the Cincinnati Art Museum today to drop off the photo CD of the One Party and to see the exhibit Surrealism and Beyond. The exhibit is beyond my comprehension, but I do have a better understanding of why the artist created these pieces even if I don't understand the works themselves. It started in Europe after WWI. The world they believed in was destroyed. Not just physically, but psychologically and socially too. So the artist destroyed to their concept of art as they had known it. Sort of a shell shock art.
